Pu’erh is a type of fermented tea (also known as dark tea) so named because the use of microbial fermentation the tea-making process. The resulting tea has a taste and aroma very from green tea, black tea or oo’long. Our Pu’erh tea comes from Mt. Yiwu, Yunnan, known for producing gentler and milder variants of Pu’erh more suitable for novice drinkers.
A unique trait of good Raw Pu’erh: if properly stored, it gets better and better over time because of natural fermentation (just like wine!).
